[ And he does show up in an hour like he said he would... give or take five minutes. Blame his fiddly watch that's never on time. There's a knock on the door and he's actually gotten distracted by the ambiance of the place when it's finally answered. ]

[ The large double doors to the temple were always open, but going through the courtyard, it was clear where the residential area was, and when Watanuki heard the knocking, he had been pulling a large casserole dish out of the oven. He glimpsed into the little dutch oven. The entire kitchen smelled of what he had been making: cottage pie. ]

[ But he pulled away, discarding the oven mitt to the counter, heading quickly over to the door. He was in navy blue yukata with black crows and a matching obi. He looked himself over, once, twice, and felt vain, before opening the door. ]

Welcome. [ And the smell flooded out. And yes, he had fret over what to make Ron, before deciding to make him something that might have been familiar to him (and fun to make, he was used to only making Japanese dishes, after all). He opened the door for Ron to come in. ]

[ He'd foregone his suit jacket this time because screw formality... and he couldn't get it on quick enough so it's just the shirt and the vest today. That empty sleeve should be looking familiar enough though.

Please ignore the fact that he's totally checking someone out with that yukata. He's kinda shameless that way. ]

Well you're looking rather aces for someone who's decided to stay in. Whatever you've worked on smells great, by the by!

[ He crossed his arms, folding them over his stomach. ]

I always dress this way. [ Now that he was a god, at least. It was comfortable, and a far cry better than having to be stuck in a school uniform all day. He closed the door after him, trying to ignore the blush creeping up on his face from the obvious cruise. ]

It's Cottage Pie. [ Made by the chef that even a woman of dimensions praised. He started leading him through the ornate foyer, with angular patterns on the floors and ceilings. Despite how big and old it was, it was spotless. ] I hope that's okay.

[ A grin back as he follows after. He can't help but look around though, giving an appreciative whistle at the architecture and cleanliness of it all. Dammit, why does everyone get a cooler temple than he does? At least this place looks respectable and stately! He's stuck with a haunted dump of a plantation manor.

But back to the matter at hand. ]

More'n alright! It's been a while since I had anything decent, really. Starting to think I've forgotten what home food tastes like.

Well, you'll be able to remember, now. [ He head him into the kitchen, where the delicious smell increased tenfold. He gestured to a table, which was already romantically set up for the two of them. He had fed Jade earlier in order to keep his shinki out of his hair, so the meal was made for just the two of them. ] Have a seat. There's plenty of food so you can eat as much as you'd like.

What would you like to drink? I don't really have much, except for green tea, water... mm, some juice and milk... [ He tapped his chin as he thought. ]

[ And color him further impressed. Not only could the guy cook but he had a taste for ambiance. He'll just pull himself up a seat then. ]

Water's fine, sweetheart. M'not picky.

[ Resting his head on his hand though, watching the other a moment with a thoughtful hum. ]

S'just the two of us then? Just as well. You sounded like you've been in a bit of a tizzy yourself.

[ Watanuki, who had picked up a pan to move it out of the way of the stove, suddenly slammed it against the coils. He looked back to Ron. ]

Tizzy? Tizzy? I am in more than just a tizzy! What a frivolous sounding word for how I'm feeling!

I'M NOT AN AWFUL PERSON, AM I?!

[ Momentary surprise at the slamming if only because of the sound of metal. Followed by a confused stare. ]

Blimey, no! If you were awful, d'you think I would've enjoyed my time with you enough to fancy more of it?

[ Apart from other things but that was that and this is this. ]
